Great World City

Kuriya Dining 1

Type:

Restaurant

Location:

Great World City, Singapore

A subtle blend of Ginza swank and traditional Japanese restraint, diners are greeted by a corridor of dark brown timber, slate and brass mosaic, all softly lit by strategically placed lights in the ceiling recess and along the raised floor. The dining areas are a warm blend of wood and understated earth tones. Leaf motifs are gently carved into wall panels and the backrests of chairs. Slatted screens divide private booths and provide seclusion to diners but without breaking the visual flow. Low slung windows run the entire length of the restaurant, opening out into an outdoor terrace laced with water features and lush greens. In stark contrast, the opposite wall houses the kitchen where chefs perform against a wall of dark mossy green glass mosaic.a warm blend of wood and understated earth tones.
